Isolation Trichomonas tenax and study of the relationship between parasite prevalence and periodontal disease and diabetes in Nineveh Governorate /Iraq

The current study included the collection and examination of 286 samples taken in form swabs from periodontal pocket people with disease, distributed among 186 auditors diseases branch Teaching Hospital at College Dentistry/University Mosul, some outpatient clinics for dentists, 100 health centers Tal Afar Sinjar districts. Affiliated to Nineveh Governorate investigate parasite Trichomonas tenax, where total infection rate was 0.07% percentage higher males .09% than females 5.22%. highest appeared age group 49-59 years, reaching 14.06%.
